BUBBA Watson will tee off on the Old Course at St Andrews  wearing a watch worth almost the same as the total British Open prize money.
The  eccentric left-hander is known for his flashy game and pink-shafted driver, but his Richard Mille limited edition RM 38-01 timepiece – designed for the two-time Masters champion – is worth AUD $1.1 million.
Given the winner of the Claret Jug  receives AUD $2.4 million (1.15 million pounds), it’s fair to say Watson is playing for glory and not the cash. Though the cash would also be nice.
