It’s been a great couple of days for current and former Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks. On Sunday, Dak Prescott woke up to news that he was now the highest-paid player in NFL history, clinching a massive $241-million payday that will see him earn up to $60 million annually. He then followed that a few hours later by hanging 33 points on a stout Cleveland Browns defense.

While Tony Romo didn’t enjoy the same windfall, he’s once again gearing up for PGA Tour Q-School pre-qualifying and will make his debut on Bryson DeChambeau’s red-hot YouTube series ‘Break 50’ on Tuesday. Sounds like a pretty good week to us. We don’t know if Romo and DeChambeau—who played his college golf at SMU and calls Texas home—will break that mythical barrier, but if they do, perhaps Bryson will have to change his tune when it comes to his favorite Cowboys QB of all time.

Telling Tony Romo to his face that your favorite Dallas quarterback of all time is Dak Prescott takes some guts, even if DeChambeau was just trying to get his playing partner fired up. That said, Romo seemed almost genuinely hurt, especially as DeChambeau teased some more, saying “Wait, I just remembered, sorry, Troy Aikman.” That’s gotta sting considering DeChambeau was just three years old (and living in California!) when Aikman won his last Super Bowl.

Romo’s chance to win a ring of his own has come and gone, but with a little luck and a lot of grit, he might still break 50. Not even Dak Prescott can claim that.
