It was a no good, terrible, very bad second round for Brooks Koepka at Quail Hollow. Not only did he shoot a 76 to miss the cut by country mile, he also got into an altercation with a heckler that ended with Koepka shouting, “Come down here and say it.” Safe to say, that’s not the way the 2018, 2019 and 2023 Wanamaker winner wanted to start his weekend.

If that were any of us, we’d be headed for the nearest beer cooler to delete a couple cold ones in the name of mental health, and it appears the five-time major winner is, in fact, One of Us. Behold.

Absolutely incredible detective work from Dr Keith. As the story goes, after a tough round on Friday, a local golfer named Keith made a pit stop at a Charlotte-area QuikTrip to pick up a couple brews. That’s when he spotted a familiar face doing the same and managed to snap a picture, immortalising the moment for the rest of time (or at least until the cloud servers betray us).

Obviously, we have no way of knowing for sure if this is Brooks Koepka. It could be another guy who looks a lot like him who also had a Friday so bad it required a reload. After all, as many commenters pointed out, Koepka has been a Michelob ambassador for years. Would he really turn to Miller Lite in a time of great need? We don’t know, but if it looks like Koepka and drinks like Koepka… well, we think you can figure the rest out.
