It’s not entirely a backhanded compliment. After all, winning $US10 million in your PGA Tour career – and before you’ve turned 29 – suggests a level of skill and success that few pro golfers have achieved. Yet Beau Hossler’s entrance this past weekend into a rare club comes with a little sheepishness… not to mention a desire to leave as soon as possible.
With a final-round 68 at Torrey Pines’ South course, Hossler, 28, wrapped up a T-6 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open, his first top-10 of the 2024 PGA Tour season and his 15th in 174 starts as a pro on tour. In turn, Hossler earned $US303,750 to become the 245th pro to see his earnings climb into eight figures for his PGA Tour career.
However…
Hossler is also now the 17th pro to have reached the $10 million mark without having won a PGA Tour event (yet). He’s the seventh to accomplish the feat since May 2022, a nod to the exponential increase in prizemoney payouts (thanks to the emergence of LIV Golf) allowing this little accounting trick to become more prevalent.
Hossler is among seven active PGA Tour players who are members of the club. There are also two pros, Harold Varner III and Cameron Tringale, who are part of the LIV Golf League and we’ll have to wait to see if a deal is made between the tour and the LIV’s financial backers, PIF, that would let them play again on the PGA Tour.

Noren, An and Fleetwood have all won on the DP World Tour while still searching for win No.1 on the PGA Tour, making things a little less painful. Fleetwood became the first $US20 million/no win player late last year.
While swelling purses sizes on tour make it likely that we’ll see more players join the ranks of the $10 million/no win club, the next to join might not come for a little while. The most money won by a fully exempt player without a win is Sam Ryder at $8,096,486, followed by Mark Hubbard at $8,074,695.
