It’s not a great time to be a Los Angeles Laker. After another up-and-down season, the Lakers bowed out in the first round of the West Conference playoffs. After the team’s 4-1 series loss to the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James declined to answer questions about his future—fueling speculation that we may have seen the last of LBJ in La La Land—and head coach Darvin Ham was fired. The sky isn’t exactly falling, but storm clouds are gathering.

Austin Reaves isn’t letting that ruin his summer vacation, however. On Tuesday, the Lakers guard and avid golfer was seen making the best of a bad situation, acing a simulator version of Pebble Beach’s iconic 7th hole alongside teammate D’Angelo Russell. Take it away, fellas.

Last year, we saw Dwyane Wade make a hole-in-one on Pebble Beach’s actual par-3 7th, but Reaves’ ace is pretty much the next best thing. Even better news for Lakers fans was the fact Russell was seen celebrating Reaves’ virtual ace. Despite a rocky playoff performance, the former second-overall pick caught fire down the stretch for the Lakers and is expected to opt out of his contract to test free agency this summer. Perhaps his budding golf bromance with Reaves will help keep him in Los Angeles for another season.
