Following the announcement by the Premier of South Australia today, November 18, golf clubs/facilities must close from 11.59pm today for a period of SIX (6) days.

“Golf Australia’s priority is now to ensure that essential greenkeeping staff can attend your club/facility for the purpose of maintaining the asset that is your golf courses,” Golf Australia said in a statement today. “We have already made representation to the State Transition Committee and will continue to do so until we have a favourable outcome.

“Until a clear outcome is communicated, clubs/facilities must develop and implement a plan that will allow them to maintain their facility within the restrictions announced. This may include the relocation of some staff members’ place of residence to your club/facility by midnight tonight.”

Further information will be communicated via Golf Australia’s state directives section on its website, golf.org.au.
