No golf club in the world features more courses than Mission Hills but for those golfers without the time to sample both the Shenzhen and Haikou sites, having to choose between the two can be more painful than the realisation that you’re better off laying up on your favourite par 5.
The 10 courses at Mission Hills Haikou are now a little easier to reach thanks to the direct flights now on offer with Hainan Airlines between Sydney and Haikou. No longer is an additional flight necessary from mainland China to the island province of Hainan, helping golfers get to the first tee sooner.
The airline can’t help you decide which courses to play once you arrive (we’ll recommend you at very least tackle the outstanding Black Stone course (pictured), which is the pick of the 10), but it can save you enough time to perhaps add an extra 18 to your stay.
