ONE year has passed since Aussie veteran Richard Green bagged what has been called the most bizarre hole-in-one ever witnessed.

At the 2015 Oates Victorian Open, the left hander scored a hole-in-one/albatross on the par-4 15th at the beautiful Thirteenth Beach Golf Links.

It was the week of a lifetime for Green, who claimed the Victorian Open title in a nail-biting playoff hours after fiancee Marianne Skarpnord, of Norway, triumphed in the women’s event.

The lovebirds purchased a house on the course and had only moved in days before the concurrent men’s and women’s state event.
