Canadians are renowned for their friendly nature, but US PGA Tour player Graham DeLaet has smashed the stereotype by starting a feud with Pat Reed via Twitter.
The self-proclaimed “top-five player” withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open after shooting an 81 at Torrey Pines on Saturday, which infuriated DeLaet as it changed his tee time.
Reed cited an ankle injury, so DeLaet and Scott Piercy had to play as a two-ball and had the last tee time off the 10th hole. Wet and windy weather conditions forced tee times to be moved forward.
DeLaet decided to tweet about Reed’s decision (below).
Does anyone have Pat Reed's #? I need to call him out for WD'ing and leaving us as a twosome in the final group off 10 in brutal weather.

And this tweet was a reply to a tweet that no longer exists.
No I shot 82 because I missed 13 greens and couldn't chip or putt. I'm still playing tomorrow though. https://t.co/PPRpw8QBtx
