Max Homa would be the first person to tell you that Max Homa has not had a good year on the PGA Tour. The six-time winner and budding TV star only has one top 10—a T-5 at the John Deere Classic—and finished the regular season ranked outside the top 100 on the FedEx Cup points list. But he’s suddenly got “really good vibes” heading into this week’s Bank of Utah Championship. And it has nothing to do with golf.

The longtime Golf Twitter King sadly doesn’t spend much time on that app anymore, but he remains active on Instagram. And earlier this week, he shared that he had pulled off an impressive career first. While playing the New York Times Spelling Bee.

The popular game can be quite addicting as people try to come up with as many words as possible from a collection of seven letters. The more you get, the higher the level you achieve. But while many people think reaching “Genius” status is the pinnacle, there’s actually one better: Queen Bee.

To get to this elusive level, one needs to come up with every possible word. And Homa did just that. Have a look:

“Really good vibes going into Utah week,” Homa captioned with the screenshot of his lofty accomplishment, his first Queen Bee in 804 attempted puzzles. Man, that’s gotta feel good. Not that we’re too surprised given Homa’s witty Twitter track record and the fact that he went to college at Cal-Berkeley. So he’s a smart c-o-o-k-i-e.

Apparently, Homa was still feeling those good vibes on Wednesday when he hopped back on Instagram to offer up tournament tickets to fans.

“Have extra tix this week so message me if u want to come out,” Homa posted. “Trying to turn this lemon of a season into lemondade with a last minute (trophy emoji.”

Good luck, Max. A trophy AND a Queen Bee badge would make for one heckuva week.
