As a PGA Tour caddie, Michael Greller has reached peaks that few others have. The looper has helped Jordan Spieth win three major championships, including a record-setting performance at the 2015 Masters. But his family’s “greatest sports achievement” belongs to his brother.
At least, according to Michael.
That’s because he’s following around Tom at this week’s U.S. Senior Open. The 53-year-old medical device salesman for Microtransponder qualified for his first USGA championship and is taking time off from his day job to tee it up at the Broadmoor. And little bro was beaming with pride.

“He got through locals in a four-for-three playoff, and then he went to sectionals against a lot of professionals,” Michael told NBC Sports. “He has a full-time job. I think he played nine holes last week in preparation and he’s going to be answering emails this week. And unlike most of the guys in this field, for him, it’s a hobby.”
Have a look at NBC Sports’ interview with both brothers:

Enjoy the week, guys. And for Michael, as tough as it can be watching a loved one play golf, at least it can’t be anymore stressful than following Jordan Spieth.
