We love Stuart Appleby. The former Australian Open champion, nine-time PGA Tour winner and shooter of a coveted 59 a decade ago is one of the 25 best golfers our nation has ever produced. And he’s also a straight-shooter; a smart voice in a game where that’s not always the case.
The Victorian is on the cusp of turning 50 – he reaches that milestone on May 1 – and hasn’t been sighted at a tournament since February 2019. But he has been sighted on Golf Channel. And Twitter. After raising eyebrows at his choice of hairstyle during an appearance on Golf Channel over the weekend…
