After the decision to play the men’s and women’s Australian Opens as standalone events in a bid to elevate both championships, the Australian All Abilities Championship will similarly evolve into a fully independent national championship from 2026.
Set to be played from November 28 to December 1, the Australian Open will again feature its unique combined format with players in the men’s, women’s and all abilities tournaments over two courses, showcasing the best of Australian golf.
The Australian All Abilities Championship “is like a major” for its players and tomorrow will see a final-round showdown at The Australian befitting any major championship.
