No matter how the 2025 Amgen Irish Open unfolds, Rory McIlroy has already returned to Ireland this week as a conquering hero. And after Thursday’s first round, the reigning Masters champ allowed himself to bask in that success – and let his fans enjoy what he’s accomplished as well.
It was also one of the biggest flexes in golf history.

McIlroy made an appearance at the K Club’s spectator village to do a live Q&A wearing his green jacket.
