Golf is a game of calm. Moment after moment of silence, patience and concentration. It’s all about becoming one with nature and finding yourself … which is what this guy was trying to do, if it wasn’t for someone right in front of him, going through perhaps the worst moment of his sporting life, screaming “Are you f**king kidding me?!” at the top of his lungs as his golf cart sunk into the pond.

We’re not totally sure how this man’s golf cart ended up in the pond, but we do know that he certainly isn’t thrilled about this development. To be fair, there’s not much else to be said other than a bunch of expletives as you watch your clubs sink into the deep. Also the last time we checked, golf carts aren’t cheap either.
And yet, one man’s loss is another man’s gain, as a golfer rocking blue jeans on the course didn’t let this obstacle break his stride. He chipped it right over the chaos and kept his round moving. No slow play over here!
That practice swing was critical to getting him in the right mindset, and it all seemed to work out with the sharply-dressed man finding the back of the green. Get this man into the Ryder Cup. If he can hit it to the green with this much of a circus directly in front of him, he can certainly make it work at Bethpage Black with some noisy fans. We just hope Patrick Cantlay’s OK wearing Team USA jeans.
