You can debate whether LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time. But you can’t debate whether he’s a full-blown golf sicko.

The NBA legend proved that on Thursday by playing in the pouring rain. Have a look:

“Yup it’s official!” former teammate and fellow golf sicko J.R. Smith responded. “You’re a GOLFER! Welcome!” And LeBron added a “For the love of the game” caption on his Instagram story.

You’ve got to really love the game to play through that! But, yeah, Nike, hook your man up with some rain gear.

What’s amazing is that the four-time NBA MVP just recently started playing golf this offseason. But once he started, he caught the golf bug bad along with his son, Bronny, who has a beautiful swing.

And this isn’t the first time King James, who is set to play a 23rd(!) NBA season, has played in the rain. He did last month as well, posting a video in which he admits to being “addicted” to the sport.

Hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, LeBron. It’s the best sport on the planet. Glad you’re (finally) finding that out for yourself.
