After making it through a long PGA Tour season in good shape, Justin Thomas got hurt less than 10 days into the offseason. It just had nothing to do with golf.

The two-time major champ shared on social media that he suffered a bad-looking dad injury while playing with his daughter.

“Happy Thursday everybody,” Thomas wrote in a caption. “Did y’all have a good Wednesday? I sure did…. #DadLife”

Talk about leaving a mark! Tour pros are really just like us sometimes. Apparently, the two were playing with a toy that involved suction cups. And JT ended up on the wrong end of it. Literally.

Here’s the video:

“Toy and Molly one,” Thomas says in the video. “Justin, big, fat zero.”

On the bright side, this shouldn’t affect Thomas as he gears up for next week’s Procore Championship in preparation to represent Team USA at the Ryder Cup later this month. But if that mark isn’t gone by then, well, he should probably expect some heckling from the fans at Bethpage Black.
