A return to one of the great golf courses in the world and a new tournament host are among the highlights of the second half of the 2025/26 Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia season announced today.
The schedule after the short Christmas-New Year break features four legs of the ground-breaking Webex Players Series, and the third of the season’s majors, the New Zealand Open at Millbrook Resort in Queenstown from February 26-March 1.

Kiwi favourites Ben Campbell, Steven Alker, Daniel Hillier and Kazuma Kobori have already been confirmed as starters for the 105th Open which will be a key event in the race to win this season’s Order of Merit currently headed by Ford NSW Open winner Christopher Wood.
The Tour’s first stop in New Zealand will be at the famed Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club on the North Island, with the world top-100 ranked layout to host the NZ PGA Championship from February 19-22.
Located just north of Wellington, Paraparaumu Beach last hosted the Tour in 2002 when Craig Parry won the NZ Open, beating a field that included world No.1 Tiger Woods, and was previously the NZ PGA Championship venue in 1959.
The new tournament host on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia is Olympian Marcus Fraser, who will be the host of Webex Players Series Victoria at Rosebud Country Club on January 22-25.

A winner on four Tours around the world, Fraser [above] is looking forward to his extra duties.
“As a proud long-time Tour member, it’s an honour to have my name associated with one of our Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia events,” Fraser said.
“I’m looking forward to helping to put on a great event for the players and fans at Rosebud, one of the best courses we play each year.”
