Hawaii didn’t seem all that long ago, did it? You know, the PGA Tour’s season-opener at Kapalua? Yet, here we are, at the Wyndham Championship, the PGA Tour’s regular-season finale at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.

Every player from No. 60 to 109 in the FedEx Cup standings is in the field, to put the importance squarely into perspective. The top 70 after this week will qualify for next week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first leg of the playoffs. The top 100 will earn full status for 2026. Matti Schmid is 70th and Isaiah Salinda is 100th.
Aaron Rai is the defending champion and is back. No one has won back-to-back titles here since Sam Snead 70 years ago. Jordan Spieth is No. 50 in standings. Last week’s winner of the 3M Open, Kurt Kitayama was well outside the playoff picture but is guaranteed a spot in at least the first event because of his victory.
U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley is the highest ranked player in the field at No. 7 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Hideki Matsuyama (12), Robert MacIntyre (14) and Ben Griffin (17) are the others inside the top 20.
Here’s the rundown of what each player will earn this week who makes the cut. Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
