LIV Golf is back in action this week, opting to play in Europe again the week before the British Open. This week the league is in Spain, at venerable Valderrama for the third straight year, playing in LIV Golf Andalucia.
Sergio Garcia is the defending champion, winning last year at one of the courses he loves most in the world. They’ll all be playing for the customary $20 million purse with the winner taking home $4 million.

If this season holds true to form Joaquin Niemann should win. This is the 10th event of the 14 this year. Niemann has won four times, in the second, fourth, sixth and eighth events. Since he’s winning the even-numbered events—every other tournament—it could be his time again. He leads the season’s individual standings ahead of Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, who hasn’t won yet this year.
In fact, two weeks ago in Dallas, DeChambeau birdied the final hole to move up and knock Rahm down and into an 11th place tie, the first time in his LIV Golf career when he hasn’t finished inside the top 10.
On the team side, DeChambeau’s Crushers squad leads the season standings ahead of Rahm’s Legion XIII and Garcia’s Fireballs.
Here is the rundown of what each player will earn this week in Spain. Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
