LIV Golf is back in action this week for the first time since earlier this month, taking off time for some of their players to compete in the U.S. Open at Oakmont. Tyrrell Hatton (T-4) was the highest LIV finisher there.
This week the league is back at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, for the second consecutive year, although last year the event was a team championship. This year it’s a regular 54-hole, shotgun event with the customary $20 million purse with $4 million going to the winner.

Bryson DeChambeau, as usual, will be the biggest draw in the field. He lives in nearby Grapevine and played college golf at SMU. Other Dallas residents playing are Carlos Ortiz and Sebastian Munoz. Sergio Garcia, Abraham Ancer and Patrick Reed are all residents of Texas.
Joaquin Niemann leads the individual points for the season winning four of the first eight events of the year. Yes, he’s won exactly half of the LIV Golf events in 2025. DeChambeau and Jon Rahm are second and third respectively.
Rahm’s Legion XIII team leads the team points race but DeChambeau’s Crusher team has won the last two team titles. Garcia’s Fireballs are third.
Here’s the rundown of what each player will earn this week in Dallas. Check back here Sunday after play if complete for updates.
