LIV Golf is back in action for its fourth event of the season, a week after Joaquin Niemann won his second event of the year, this one coming in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Chilean is one of the hottest players in the world after cruising to another LIV Golf League title, further justifying the invitation he received to play in the Masters next month. He topped Sergio Garcia in the season-opening event at Mayakoba in Mexico.
This week, however, the circuit is in Hong Kong for the first time in its three-year history, playing at Hong Kong Golf Club. They’re playing for the usual $20 million purse, with $4 million going to the champion. The winning team will split $3 million.

Players of the year standings are impressive, with Niemann obviously leading the way. Dustin Johnson, who won in Las Vegas last month, is second. Newbie Jon Rahm is third with three top-five finishes. Talor Gooch and Louis Oosthuizen round out the top five.
LIV Golf will take three weeks off before heading to Trump National Doral, April 5-7, in Miami. The Masters is the following week.
