The top three two-person teams in both Net and Gross divisions at each regional will qualify for the National Championship at McLemore Resort in Rising Fawn, Ga. The two-day finale will include two rounds on The Keep, the runner-up in Golf Digest’s Best New Public Course awards, plus accommodations at the Cloudland overlooking Lookout Mountain. The winner at each qualifier will earn free accommodations and golf at the National Championship!
Here’s a look at the 2026 Golf Digest Open schedule:
May 11: Dutchman’s Pipe, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Dutchman’s Pipe recently reopened after a complete overhaul by Jack Nicklaus’ Chris Cochran. It’s the first private club to open in West Palm Beach in more than two decades, and Golf Digest Open attendees will get a rare glimpse into this exclusive enclave where tour pros are frequently seen practicing.
May 18: Rams Hill Golf Course, Borrego Springs, Calif.

One of the Best Courses in California and a top-public course in the country, Rams Hill is one of the most coveted tee times in the desert.
June 8: Knickerbocker Country Club, Tenafly, N.J.
A top private club in North Jersey, Knickerbocker Country Club is a frequent host to USGA and MET-area qualifiers. The Donald Ross/Herbert Strong design has some of the most interesting greens and best conditions in the state.
June 29: Brae Burn Country Club, Newtown, Mass.
This historic, Donald Ross-designed course has been ranked in every edition of Golf Digest’s Best Courses in Massachusetts list and has a championship résumé that includes eight USGA championships, including the 1919 U.S. Open won by Walter Hagen and the 1927 U.S. Amateur won by Bobby Jones.
July 13: The Seawane Club, Hewlett Harbor, N.Y.

Seawane Club is a true hidden gem in the crowded Long Island golf landscape, having undergone a transformation over the past few years. The Devereux Emmett design was recently named one of Golf Digest’s Best Courses in New York.
July 20: Governors Club, Brentwood, Tenn.

The Governors Club is a private Arnold Palmer signature golf course built on rolling terrain outside Nashville. The course was routed along natural flowing creeks and boasts great topography—offering views of the Tennessee foothills.
July 27: The Tribute Golf Links, The Colony, Texas

The Golf Clubs at The Tribute is a unique 36-hole facility north of Dallas that recently hosted LPGA events. The Tribute offers a links-like test with replicas of some of the best holes from the British Isles, including the famous Postage Stamp par 3 from Royal Troon and the Road Hole of the Old Course at St Andrews.
Aug. 3: Conway Farms Golf Club, Lake Forest, Ill.

Nationally ranked for nearly a decade on Golf Digest’s top 200 rankings, Conway Farms is one of the best championship layouts in the Chicago area, having hosted the multiple PGA Tour FedEx Cup Playoff events (the BMW Championship), NCAA national championships and other notable amateur events.
