It’s been an overall great week or so for Colt Knost. The CBS Golf team member and SiriusXM PGA Tour radio personality hosted a Ryder Cup town hall and even took a photo with newly avid golfer LeBron James:
Just a couple pro athletes right there. But it was another photo taken by someone else on an airplane that he might remember more. Because it involved the former PGA Tour pro being served a huge—and hilarious—slice of humble pie.

We’ll let Colt tell the story, but it involves a flight home from that aforementioned town hall. And a random female passenger, who, well, let’s just say wasn’t too impressed by Knost’s looks. Take it away, Colt!

“I’m sitting there just minding my own business . . . I see her turn next to me with her camera phone and just boom, picture,” Knost says. But if you think she was taking a photo of him because she was a golf fan . . . wrong!
“So I kinda look over and I see a picture of the side of my head that she is sending to her group text and the question was, ‘Are you at least sitting next to a hot guy?'” Knost continues. “And she goes, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Oh my god!'”
Oof. That’s rough. Although, Knost and his co-hosts had a big laugh about the situation.
“So, I didn’t talk to her, she asked to get up twice on a two-hour flight, so she annoyed me and she was rude about me,” Knost adds.
“Then we land and she goes, ‘Hey, would you help me get my bag down?'” Knost says. “I wanted to be like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to throw it at you too!'”
What a story. And, hey, it can’t be too bad, Colt. You were given a job on TV after all.
