Charley Hull hasn’t been racking up the wins, but no one in golf has been hotter on social media racking up views of late. And yes, a lot of that has to do with all the viral videos of her lighting up ‘bungers’.
But last weekend, Hull went viral once again. And this time, there wasn’t a cigarette in sight.
Golf fans will argue Tiger vs Jack until the cows come home, but when it comes to the GOAT of the club twirl, it’s Tiger. And it’s not even close.
There have been others who have followed in Woods’ footsteps and are great at the club twirl as well, from Justin Thomas to Maverick McNealy. But now, Hull seems to have re-invented the cocky move. Have a look at this sidewinder one from the LPGA’s Dow Championship:

But the important thing is that she did. Who cares what the leaderboard says (Hull and Georgia Hall finished T-5 in the team event behind winners Ruoning Yin and Atthaya Thitikul), Hull is a winner in our book.
