Bryson DeChambeau went a disappointing 1-3-1 at the recent Ryder Cup, but we may know what the problem was now: He wasn’t playing with Stephen Curry.
The two-time NBA MVP teamed up with the two-time US Open champ for the latest installment of DeChambeau’s “Breaking 50” YouTube series, and, no spoilers, but we’ll just say you should watch the entire episode.
Bryson billed it as an “Electric” video and said that the NBA superstar and celebrity golf king has been the most-requested person to appear on the show. Two two filmed Steph schooling Bryson on the basketball court, but on the golf course, he was more than holding his own at times.
Case in point, the opening par 4 at Lake Merced Golf Club, which measured 320 yards from the forward tees. And the greatest long-distance shooter in basketball history hit an incredible long drive that nearly left DeChambeau speechless. Check it out:

What a golf shot. “I can’t beat that,” DeChambeau says in the clip. And he couldn’t. Moments later, Curry, the 2024 American Century Golf Championship winner, capped off the shot by rolling in the short eagle putt and this dynamic duo was off and running.
