ADAM Scott has finally shed some light on his form with the flat stick and how it will change come January 1.

With Scott’s success coming mostly from the anchored putter – which will be banned next year – questions have been asked if the 2013 Masters champion can have the same results with the shorter (or non-anchored) putter.

Appearing on Golf.com’s Tour Confidential this morning, the 35-year-old said he believed his form on the greens would improve with a putting style change.

“I’ve had lots time to think about out it; I’ll certainly alter the way I’m doing it at the moment and not anchor of course,” Scott said.

“I believe I can putt better with practice doing it that way. Whatever I do, I’m going to have to practice a lot.”
