Treat a hybrid like an iron – go down after it!
If you’re struggling to hit good hybrid shots off the turf, it might be a case of mistaken identity. Hybrids look like fairway woods, but you should use them as if they were irons. In other words, you want to hit down on the ball to impart enough backspin to launch it higher, so you can hold the green from longer distances.
