ST190 and ST190G Drivers

What's Hot: MizunoThe ST190 drivers offer Mizuno’s lowest spin rates and incorporate every known factor in the quest to enhance ball speed and driving distance. Mizuno’s ultra-fast Forged SP700 Ti face now boasts a lighter Cortech structure to deliver consistently higher ball speeds, with a large carbon composite crown plus the Amplified Wave soleplate, introduced in last year’s ST180 drivers, helping to convert each additional mph into extra distance.

The Forged SP700 Ti face is more than 10 percent stronger than 6-4 Titanium with a fine grain structure that allows a more complex geometry in the Cortech face, where re-engineered ribs and a Quick Switch internal structure promise even higher performance. The ultralight 12-gram carbon composite crown means seven grams of weight can be optimally redistributed to further boost ball speeds and reduce spin rates. The Amplified Wave Sole features a heavily amplified first wave configuration which expands the ST190’s COR area for improved ball speeds across the clubface, with reduced off-centre performance drop-off. Harmonic Impact Technology is the result of a careful study of vibration and soundwaves, which identified the need for internal ribs to create a more solid, powerful impact sound. The whole package combines to squeeze every last ounce of ball speed from the entire clubface in both the ST190 and ST190G drivers.

RRP: $799 (ST190G); $729 (ST190)

ST190 Fairway Woods

What's Hot: MizunoMizuno’s powerful ST190 fairway woods are also speed engineered and feature a carbon composite crown and amplified Wave soleplate, this time allied to a deeper, high-energy HT1770 maraging steel face. This deeper clubface flexes more like a driver, helping to maximise ball speed, while the ultra-lightweight carbon composite crown allows four grams of weight to be moved low within the clubhead, combining with the deeper clubface to deliver an efficient, low-spin ball flight.

The Amplified Wave Soleplate’s larger first wave creates a balance between stability and sweet spot height to provide effective off-centre forgiveness without excess backspin. Similar Harmonic Impact Technology to that found in the drivers generates a powerful, solid impact sound, fine-tuned through the study of vibration and soundwaves.

RRP: $449 (ST190 TS adjustable); $399 (ST190)

RB Tour and RB Tour X Balls

Mizuno is proud to unveil two new tour-calibre, four-piece golf balls that promise optimum greenside feel plus excellent performance in the wind thanks to a new drag-reducing Cone Profile Dimple (C Dimple).

The RB Tour and RB Tour X are Mizuno’s first balls to be introduced globally – with Japan, Europe, Australia and now the USA adopting an identical ball for both tour and retail.

What's Hot: Mizuno What's Hot: Mizuno

Mizuno’s new Cone (C) Dimple is the result of 12 years of wind-tunnel testing at Mizuno’s MT (Mizuno Technics) test facility. The C-Dimple creates more trigger points to keep fast flowing air close to the ball’s surface for longer – simultaneously reducing drag and strengthening trajectory. Under laboratory testing a configuration of 360 Cone Dimples was discovered to be the most effective at producing a controllable, penetrating driver flight and noticeable distance gains on full iron shots.

The RB Tour and RB Tour X’s high-energy four-piece construction blends 360 drag-reducing C-Dimples with: a high-traction urethane cover for ultrasoft, responsive greenside performance; a high-energy ionomer mantle layer; and a graduated hardness Butadiene Dual Core.

The RB Tour model’s very soft compression offers lower driver spin to suit more downward angles of attack, while the RB Tour X is geared more towards mid-driver spin for flat to upward attack angles.

JPX919 Hot Metal Iron

What's Hot: MizunoMizuno has extended its JPX919 Hot Metal Series with a Pro model, targeting better players seeking compact looks with the ball speeds of Chromoly 4140M.

The JPX919 Hot Metal Pro shares all the essential design characteristics and performance attributes of the original Hot Metal model, which hailed a true benchmark in iron design, engineered for the perfect blend of ball speed and soft, controllable landing angles. High-strength Chromoly 4140M allows a new multi-thickness face that promotes astonishing ball speeds, while a seamless one-piece cup face construction ensures surprising levels of feedback even at such unprecedented ball speeds.

The head’s stability frame is open at the heel portion to enhance stability, launch and a loft-appropriate flight apex for controlled, soft-landing approaches, while re-engineered Sound Ribs generate specific vibration patterns that ensure a satisfying sensation through impact. A new, more durable Pearl Brush finish then helps to soften the head’s lines in bright sunlight.

RRP: $209 per iron
