PONTE VEDRA BEACH — One of the funniest moments in Players Championship history came last year, when Keith Mitchell drove a ball into the water, slammed his club into the tee box like a lumberjack splitting wood, and then had to listen to the weather horn blow with impeccable timing. Taken together, it was a brilliant sequence that was so funny Mitchell himself brought it back from the dead after it was taken down on Twitter.

On Friday, in the “Happy Hour” segment with Smylie Kaufman and Kevin Kisner, Mitchell joined them to relive the debacle. Somehow, the rehash might have been even funnier than the original. Watch the three of them go back in time to a truly hysterical moment:

It’s hard to tell what’s funnier: Mitchell taking the rage walk back to the clubhouse, ready to get hit by lightning, Kisner busting his chops about the “trench” on the tee box, or Mitchell’s caddie John Limanti loyally waiting for him with an umbrella. Kaufman seems to be a rising star at NBC—you can read our profile of him here—and if this is the kind of content “Happy Hour” delivers, we want more.
