Although Jessica Hadwin is one of our favorite better halves on the PGA Tour, cracking us up with one brutally honest anecdote after the next, Adam Hadwin’s star power could be better. When your biggest claim to fame is getting tackled by a security guard after being mistaken for a random fan, it’s safe to say your brand could use some work. But don’t take our word for it. Listen to Jessica instead, who shared this hilarious story about the Hadwins’ recent experience getting a quote for a backyard putting green.
2 celeb/golf pro backyard greens companies came out to give us a quote. Neither had any idea Adam is a golfer and one even said “you sure you want to chip towards the house?” He also told him about all the pros he’s done before. Play better and/or get tackled harder am I right?

LOLLLL. Prayers up for Adam. The life of a pro golfer comes with plenty of pressure and scrutiny, but you don’t expect to be catching body blows from putting green installers. Adam had probably practiced his sheepish “yeah, that’s me face” in the mirror and had a Sharpie ready to go for some autographs. Then the guys show up and ask him if he’s sure he wants to be chipping toward the house. That’s pretty rough, but wait, it gets worse.
The really unfortunate and awkward part of it is that he double booked them and they came at the same time and Adam was sweating 😂😂

When it rains, it pours. So how did Adam respond to this tricky situation? Did he eventually let them know he’s a PGA Tour golfer, the iconic “security guard guy”? Well, not exactly.
No, we just oooo’d and aaaaa’d at the list of other professional golfers haha

Welp, that’s one way to stay humble.
