The LIV Golf League has reached the sixth event on its 14-event schedule, and after two weeks off, this one has historically been the rowdiest on the rotation. Yes, the tour is Down Under, in golf-crazed Australia, returning to the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide.
The overall purse is its usual $20 million and the winner will take home $4 million for his victory. The winning team will split $3 million.
Talor Gooch took home the top prize a year ago, winning by three strokes, but perhaps the most memorable event to happen during the week was Chase Koepka’s hole in one on the par-3 12th stadium-like setup where the gallery enjoys cold beverages all day. The hole is called the Watering Hole for a reason and when Koepka’s ball found the bottom of the cup, chaos ensued, which you can relive here.

As for the season itself, Joaquin Niemann leads the overall standings by a comfortable margin over Jon Rahm, who is still looking for his first LIV Golf victory. Meanwhile, Niemann won the first and third events of the year and only has one finish outside the top 10. All five of Rahm’s starts have ended inside the top eight. Dean Burmester, winner of the Doral event three weeks ago, sits in third place.
Here is the rundown of how much each player will earn this week in Australia. Check back here Sunday after play is complete for more updates.
