What’s the most clutch chip in golf history? Tiger Woods at the 2005 Masters? Tom Watson at the 1982 US Open? There are plenty of great answers out there, but they all may have been topped at a recent Korean wedding. That’s right, a wedding.

Thanks to the magic of smartphones and social media, we were brought an amazing highlight that took place during one couple’s nuptials. It involves a golfer chipping the wedding ring to the groom. And absolutely nailing it.

Seriously, it’s hard to think of a more pressure-packed situation. A room full of people, the most important day of a couple’s life and a piece of jewellery central to the entire thing. What a bold thing to attempt. And yet, it was pulled off to perfection. Have a look:

Here’s another angle:

OK, so we should clarify that it looks like he chipped a golf ball or golf ball-shaped box that contained the ring, but still, that’s just as impressive. And how about the theatrics of his friend first putting a regular golf ball to him? And using a long putter to boot!

Well played all around. Now keep in mind that the two golfers involved both KPGA Tour pros, so this is definitely not something you want to try at home.

Anyway, kudos to these guys. And to the bride for letting this all happen. In addition to being one of the most clutch golf shots ever, this seems like it must have been one of the most fun wedding ceremonies ever.
