The first full Jack Nicklaus course to open in Australia, Lakelands has bounced around the Top 100 since a strong showing back in 2002 when it was ranked 29th. Usually well presented, it’s a fairly uncomplicated test that is best recommended for those on the Gold Coast simply looking for a decent game of golf on superior turf. Made up some serious ground in this year’s ranking and is now surely eyeing off a spot inside the Top 50.
