We’ve seen it a bunch of times through the years, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome when it happens. A fan is plucked from the stands at a college basketball game to attempt a full-court putt and pulls off what seems like a miracle. Usually for a pile of cash—or even a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle.
The length of a basketball court is 94 feet, and yet these makes keep happening as was the case at a Baylor men’s basketball game this week when Marvin Griffin became the latest to pull it off. The 52-year-old says he usually attends the women’s games, but he was certainly happy he went to see the men play on Tuesday night. Check out the moment that made him $5,000 richer:

Well played, Marvin. That ball took a few hops (Baylor might want to examine that court) and it still went in. And on top of the money, Marvin also made SportsCenter:

“You know, my wife ran down and jumped on me like we just won the championship,” Griffin said after, “It was amazing, I mean, you don’t get those opportunities too often, and when they do happen, it’s very heartfelt and to feel the crowd just hollering and screaming, it felt great.”
Even more amazing is this isn’t the first time it’s happened at a Baylor game. Less than four years ago, a Baylor graduate student named Ky Carlson pulled off the trick.

What are the odds? And how do I get a crack at this? Apparently, this is the easiest 94-foot putt on the planet.
