Watch Jason Day’s son Dash execute a perfect golf swing

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, particularly in the sport of golf.

So with Jason and wife Ellie welcoming the birth of their second child – baby girl Lucy Adenil Day – this morning, we’re wondering if Lucy will follow in her father’s footsteps and take up the great game.

Firstborn son Dash has, and his swing is pretty good for a three-year-old – watch below.

Two weeks after Day broke through for his maiden Major victory at the US PGA Championship, and days after the 28-year-old claimed the first FedEx Cup playoffs event at The Barclays in August, Ellie posted a video of Dash and Jason on the driving range, with the Queenslander serving as caddie to Dash, who was working on his iron play.

Though their pre-shot routines are very different, Dash looks to have  a prodigious swing!

“As always, this guy trumps anything else we do in life,” Ellie tweeted.
