Ping G430 Max & SFT drivers

In the new drivers, Ping’s engineering team developed several new technologies common to all three models while applying specific advancements to each individual head, producing measurable ball-speed gains while improving sound throughout the series.

The added ball speed is attributed to a shallower and thinner VFT forged face design engineered with Spinsistency, a variable roll radius technology proven on the G425 fairway woods and hybrids. The improved and pleasing sound is the result of fine-tuning the frequencies of the head through a new internal rib structure.

RRP: $995

Ping G430 LST driver

Exclusive to the LST (Low Spin Technology) driver is Carbonfly Wrap, a lightweight composite that covers the crown and wraps into the heel/toe sections of the skirt to save weight and lower the centre of gravity for more ball speed, less spin and higher MOI. The eight-layer, one-piece composite saves four grams and weighs 11.5g fully installed. A moveable 22-gram, high-density tungsten backweight influences shot shape ±7 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. At 440cc, the smaller tour-style LST is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts (adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard) and best fits faster swing speeds.

RRP: $1,050

Ping G430 fairway woods

G430 fairway woods include MAX, SFT and LST models. The trio of options feature Carbonfly Wrap technology. The lightweight composite crown saves 10 grams of weight. Engineers re-allocated the mass to achieve a lower centre of gravity to deliver increased ball speed for higher ball flight and longer carries. FaceWrap Technology and the innovation of Spinsistency are two proven advancements from previous Ping generations that remain in the new line-up. FaceWrap Technology offers faster ball speed and greater distance with higher flight. This is achieved via its variable-thickness, high-strength maraging steel face which wraps into the sole and crown of the stainless steel clubhead to generate more flexing. Spinsistency reduces spin on thin shots to create more ball speed thereby improving performance across the entire clubface.

RRP:  $659 (Max: 15, 18, 21, 24 degrees; SFT: 16, 19, 22)

Ping G430 hybrids

The new G430 hybrids are fully loaded with Ping’s supreme range of technologies – Carbonfly Wrap, FaceWrap and Spinsistency. There are six loft options (2H/17°, 3H/19°, 4H/22°, 5H/26°, 6H/30°, 7/34°). The ideal mid and long-iron replacement clubs contain an eight-position hosel for the ultimate adjustability.

RRP: $559 (17, 19, 22, 26, 30, 34 degrees).

G430 irons

The Ping G430 iron sets (graphite shaft) produce distance gains of approximately 7-10 yards and improved accuracy throughout the set. It’s the result of a complex design that combines a lower centre of gravity with stronger, custom engineered lofts and a thinner face that delivers up to 2mph more ball speed, leading to significant distance gains without compromising Ping’s famous forgiveness.

RRP $299 per iron (steel), $329 per iron (graphite)

i230 irons

The Ping i230 irons (steel shaft) deliver consistent, predictable distance control and tight dispersion. An activated elastomer insert creates discretionary weight to lower the centre of gravity for more distance while enhancing feel and sound in conjunction with a multi-material badge. A more rounded lead edge ensures smooth turf interaction for clean strikes.

RRP $299 per iron (steel), $329 per iron (graphite)
