When you have a hole-in-one on the 16th hole at Augusta National in the final round of the Masters on your resume like Justin Thomas does, all future aces pale in comparison. Still, a hole-in-one at Riviera, on Genesis Invitational week, is pretty damn special, too.

JT now has that on his resume, too, though it unfortunately came during the Wednesday Pro-Am. It also came on the 16th hole at Riviera, a hole that’s been known to produce a number of momentous shots down the stretch in this event.

Judging by the reaction, Thomas definitely wishes this one came on Sunday as opposed to Wednesday, but it’ll have to do for now. Also, maybe this is just a guy who is acting like he’s been there before (he certainly has):

Impressive stuff from the dude on the mic who basically called it off the club face. Oh, and decent shot from JT, too. Watch out Phil Mickelson, this man may be gaining on you.
