ZipCore XL

Golf Digest’s academic panel has seen a lot of interesting technology over the years and isn’t easily impressed. One highlight is Cleveland’s ZipCore tech in which a lightweight aluminium-silicate compound replaces steel in the hosel to better position the centre of gravity.
ZipCore saves nearly 15 grams of weight that is redistributed to reduce loss of ball speed on off-centre strikes.
A proprietary face blast and laser-milled lines create roughness for consistent spin.
